This precise three-dimensional load measurement system enables automated and dynamic measurement of moving truck load volumes without stopping.
Laser scanners are mounted on a frame above the truck lane: one measures the cross-sectional profile of the load, and the other tracks the truck as it passes through the measurement area, generating a 3D image that provides the exact volume of the load.
The application is highly versatile and can be used for volume and profile measurements of various materials, such as stones, sand, minerals, or even wood, in harsh environments.

This high-precision 3D laser measuring system has been specially developed for measuring piles.
The scanner "looks" from the machine at any angle, delivers the profiles, and scans the stack. A three-dimensional stacking profile is generated based on the machine position (including angles). A "profile zero" is generated during calibration, and the current 0D image of the stack can be offset with this profile in a subsequent operation.
